OMG, you look soooo familiar! You know, I live in the little town, you used to live in, right? (Just before Eli Hill, LOL) We moved here, April 15th, 1983. Maybe I have seen you, in town, or something? Also my sons are ages, 40, 38, 37, and 30 years old, and went to Maple Lawn, SJH, and SHS. (my youngest went to ML, and also Daffodil, as we live on the boundary, etc., and with new schools built, it changed, etc.)
Anyhow, it IS a small world, isn't it?
No, I didn't have a bad Easter, even though I had to work, (at the only Grocery store in town, now :)
It was only busy for the first couple of hours, then it was dead, dead, dead :) Although, I stayed busy cleaning. (how hard is THAT, LOL) Anyhow, I'm glad you, and your family had a good Easter!
Having had all sons, you kinda 'lose them,' to their wife's family's, etc. But, that's okay, because even though I don't usually 'connect' at Holidays, I do see them, and we're pretty close :)
Well, I read, Kingdom Come, by Tim LaHaye, I must admit :) BUT, I'll start in on the Pre-Wrath book this week. As I said, I don't believe it'll change my Dispensationalist stance, as I believe that the Bible addresses the Jews, the Church, and the Nations. And it would appear that Pre-Wrath 'lumps' them together? But I dunno, as I haven't really read it all, as yet.
But, wheather we ever agree on Pre-Wrath, or not? I love you, as my sister in Jesus Christ, and if I'm right about the Pre-Trib rapture, I don't believe you'll be mad, LOL.

However, I decided to post on this one, as you have so many to chose from :)
Okay. True to my word, I went thru the pre-wrath book. However, as it's based, primarily on the Olivet Discourse, I believe (and in my opinion) it isn't rightly dividing the Word of Truth. Because as most pre-tribbers believe, that is written for the Nation of Israel. And I believe that you need to find out if the Bible is refering to Israel, the Church, or the Nations.
Also, on page 124, the Restrainer is the Church, in my opinion, too. Because there is some confusion about the Church being the Bride of Christ, (this is a relationship, only) when actually the Church is (male) as being the Body of Christ. Paul never refered to the Church as a 'she', etc. He said, to put on the armour of God, and that we are the body of Christ. Jesus is the head of the Church, so his body has to be male.
Then, the Elect of God.
There are (at least) 5 Elects of God mentioned in the Bible.
1. Jesus (Isiah 42: 1-4, 1 Peter 2:6
2.Israel (Isiah 45:4, Romans 11: 11-36
3. the Church Col. 3:32-37
4. Angels 1 Tim. 5:21
5. Ministers Acts 9:10-19
Anyway, I really wished your friend, that teaches the pre-wrath position at your Church, would read some of Hilton Suttons books.
And I don't agree 100% with Hilton Sutton either, LOL.
Especially, ABC's of Bible Prophecy
and
God's Master Performance (the book of Rev., verse by verse)
And while I still believe the pre-trib position is correct? Hey, as long as we believe correctly for our Salvation, and walk with God? What could be better, on this earth, or in the ages to come?
