Palm Sunday at Discovery Baptist Church

At DBC we rarely use drama in our worship but we did yesterday. The team portrayed Christ as He cleansed the temple. Just after He drove the money changers out who had made His Father's house a den of thieves, He healed some of the sick. Tim is the second guy on the right. He is rejoicing as he had been healed of his lame leg. Daisy is in there but I can't point her out. She waved a palm branch and called out, "Hosanna", in her clear, strong voice.
Caleb Suko, our Pastor's son, announced that they are nearly at 95% of their support. He and wife Christina and four children will be leaving for Ukraine in August to serve there as missionaries. They will be close to Caleb's sister Rachel (and Rachel's hubby Mike). It will be a joy I'm sure for them to work alongside each other. They'll get to spend holidays together!

The guys sang a great song, "Wondrous Cross", blending beautifully as always. Can't wait until next Sunday, which is Resurrection Sunday!
