Our son Ben is headed back up to Alaska. He spent two years there, from April 2004-February 2006. He fell in love and is returning next month to work at a resort for the summer near the Wrangel St. Elias Wilderness Area. You all might remember the oil spill near Valdez that occurred in '89. He'll be close to that region this time. He is parusing his contract in the bottom photo. I don't think he knew I had my camera out yet. The little smile tells me he was already enjoying a visit in his imagination. He needed a photo for the company who hired him. We went outside by our pond to get the second shot. The top image was taken just inside our back door.
